Terms of use.
The rules for using Crossband’s apps and this website, in plain English.
Last updated 7 October 2026.
About these terms
These terms are between you and Boundform Labs Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 17492264), All Saints Business Centre, All Saints Street, Bolton, BL1 2EJ, United Kingdom (“we”). They cover the Crossband watch app, the Crossband iPhone app and this website. By using them you agree to these terms. The terms of the App Store or Google Play, where you got the app, also apply. If you got the iPhone app from the App Store, Apple’s standard licence agreement for apps applies too.
Using the apps
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the apps on devices you own or control. Please don’t copy, resell or reverse-engineer them, except where the law allows it, or use them to break the law or harm anyone.
Free trial and purchase
- The apps are free to download and come with a 14-day free trial with every feature unlocked. The trial starts when your watch first connects to your iPhone.
- To keep using Crossband after the trial, buy it once in the app (£3.99 in the UK, $4.99 in the US, or the local equivalent the store shows). Until you do, the apps stop connecting your watch and iPhone.
- It is not a subscription. One purchase covers your watch and your iPhone, whichever store you bought it from.
- The store handles payment and refunds. Ask the store you bought from for a refund.
- If you are a consumer, you have legal rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, that these terms don’t take away.
What Crossband can and can’t do
- Crossband depends on features of iOS, Wear OS and your watch that Apple, Google and watch makers control. They can change these, which may stop some features working. We will try to keep up, but can’t promise every feature will always work on every device.
- Bluetooth connections can drop. Don’t rely on Crossband as your only way to get urgent alerts, such as calls or messages about safety, health or emergencies.
- Crossband isn’t a medical device. Health data is for general fitness and wellbeing, and may be incomplete or delayed. Don’t use it to diagnose or treat any condition. If you have a health concern, talk to a doctor.
Waitlist
Joining the waitlist doesn’t commit you or us to anything. Features, prices and dates may change before launch. You can leave at any time by emailing support@crossband.app.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We aren’t responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, or for business losses: the apps are for personal use. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit.
If the apps damage a device or other digital content you own because we didn’t use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or pay you compensation.
Trademarks
Crossband is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple, Google, Samsung, OnePlus or OPPO. Apple Watch, iPhone, iOS and Apple Health are trademarks of Apple Inc. Wear OS, Android, Google Play and Pixel are trademarks of Google LLC. Galaxy Watch is a trademark of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. OnePlus and OPPO are trademarks of their respective owners.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the apps change or the law requires it. We’ll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if a change affects you significantly.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law where you live.
